Thank you Britt Elementary School in Snellville, Georgia, for inviting me to present at Literacy Night. I read to two classes in the afternoon and two groups in the evening. That was fun!
The Barefoot In the Park Festival, in Duluth, Georgia, was as windy as it was fun. There were times I thought the whole book tent was ready to take off with the wind. Luckily, we were able to install a side piece to the tent, which kept most of the wind out.
How about those Nicholson Stars? They really do shine the brightest. I enjoyed my visit to Nicholson Elementary School on May 7th for Career Day and read to over 100 excited young readers.
Thanks again to Cedar Hill Elementary School for inviting me to participate in Reading Night on March 18th. The awesome Black Knights t-shirt you sent me rocks!
Robinson Elementary School was like a whirlwind mini-tour! I read to seven classes in 5 hours. That's a new record!
I had a blast at South Paulding Middle School on Monday, October 25th. Thanks to all the awesome 6th grade students & teachers, and the Media Specialists, who made the day great.
The Georgia Literary Festival took place on an unusually cold day, which seemed to have kept people away. Although turnout was low, I met some eager young readers, and several great authors. Click here to see photos.
The Book Fair on the Square in Marietta was a HUGE success, with beautiful weather and 74 books sold. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the day terrific. Click here to see photos.
We had a blast at the Decatur Book Festival in September. A visit from our alien friend was fun, but the best part was meeting so many excited young readers. Plus a whopping 76 books sold! Thanks to the AJC and other sponsors for making this festval possible. Click here to see photos.
